Due to the inclement weather, tonight's (Nov-22) T20 game at Marcellin has been cancelled. The match has been rescheduled to be played at Marcellin College on the 6th December. All other details will remain the same and we look forward to seeing you at the game - hopefully under a sunny sky!
The long Melbourne winter continues however MOCCC has started its preparations for the upcoming cricket season.
After last year’s dramatic finals run for the 1st XI, culminating in an epic semi-final draw and GF win v Glen Iris we look to continue to develop and expand the club. Since 2008/09 the club has claimed 12 premierships in various grades and this success will provide the foundation for further achievements.
We recently held the AGM. From that meeting I can report that club is in good health with strong playing numbers, good financial strength and outstanding commitment from our committee and sponsors.
As you would all be aware by now our 1XI had a great win in the A Turf Final a few weeks ago. A great achievement by the team!
The club presentation night will be held on April 22nd (Friday) at our sponsor The Manningham Club. Its great night to celebrate the season and I look forward to seeing you all there.

As you've probably heard by now, the Donnellan's the Tyremen 1st XI completed a successful 2015/16 campaign by winning the A Turf Grand Final against Glen Iris. A match report will be posted soon, but in the mean time check out all the photos from the celebrations in our 2015/16 Gallery.
Semi Final Weekend is here! Get down to Marcellin College today and tomorrow to support the MOCCC Donnellan's the Tyremen 1st XI in their semi final against Canterbury.
To get in the mood, check out last year's 2nd XI Semi Final photos, featuring some of the guys playing today, including Nick Bortolotto, Julian Black and Lachie Evans, in the new gallery courtesy of Gary French. Gary has kindly provided MOCCC with photos dating back to 2006, and all of these photos will gradually be uploaded here. Thank you, Gary.
Go the Mighty Eagles!
As we draw closer to the end of the season I invite you all to Marcellin this weekend to support two teams playing in semi-finals.
Our 1st XI have had a superb year, sitting 2 games clear on top of the A turf ladder. Our 2 English imports, Graeme White and Dom Harding have starred for the team. Graeme, the left arm orthodox spinner from county club Northants has dominated with the ball and Dom has put together a massive run tally. Nick Burt has also starred with the ball.
It’s been an exciting start to the season with all our teams representing the club with distinction.
The 1sare undefeated in 2015/2016 with new captain Nick Bortolotto and the new look playing squad acquitting themselves well. The highlight was a nail-biting win against Canterbury by 7 runs. With the bat, English import Dom Harding leads the way with 196 @ 49, which includes 105no in his first match for the Eagles. Borts is second in the batting aggregate with 129 @ 25.80.
The gallery for the current season is now open for viewing, featuring some photos and videos from the pre-season, and round 2 matches of the 1st and 3rd XIs.
If anyone has any club photos from the current season, or from past seasons that they would like to add to the club galleries, please contact Pete Mirabella.
The ECA have released the playing dates for their new veterans competition, sponsored by Fletchers. The teams, gradings and fixtures will be announced soon, and we will keep you posted. All games are scheduled to be played on Sundays.
