Welcome Danny Briggs and Sam Marsh

Following on from last year’s successful campaign we are pleased to announce that two Englishmen will be joining the Eagle's playing group for the upcoming season - Danny Briggs and Sam Marsh.

Danny Briggs, a left arm orthodox spinner, currently plays for Sussex and has previously represented Hampshire in County Cricket. Danny has represented his country at the highest level, playing ODI cricket for England in 2012 and representing England in T20 cricket on 7 occasions. His last appearance for England was a T20 game in Hobart against Australia in 2014. He has an outstanding first class record with 211 wickets @ 33.79.

We look forward to welcoming Danny and his family to the MOCCC community.

Sam Marsh, an all-rounder, plays for the Croston CC in the Lancashire Area where he has been the leading run-scorer for the past few years, this year scoring 473 runs @ 27.82. He has also claimed 34 wickets @ 15.41 underlining his credentials as an all-rounder. He comes highly recommended to the club from his English coach Lee Childs, former Fitzroy-Doncaster & Victorian cricketer.
