About MOCCC

The Marcellin Old Collegians Cricket Club, founded in 1973, is built on the College's proud traditions of fairness and hard work. These traditions inspire loyalty and dedication to the Marcellin community and the College motto of Virtute ad Altissima (strive for the highest) is displayed by the players representing the Old Collegian Cricket Club, with every player willing to 'have a go' and play positive cricket to the best of their abilities.

Club Song

It’s a grand old flag
It’s a high flying flag
It’s the emblem for me and for you
It’s the emblem of the team we love
The team of the Maroon and the Blue
Every heart beats true
For the Maroon and the Blue
And we sing this song to you (What do we sing?)
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
Keep your eye on the Maroon and the Blue

(To the tune of ‘You’re a Grand Old Flag’)
